Flamengo has confirmed the sale of young forward Ryan Roberto to Shakhtar Donetsk in Ukraine. The negotiation, which lasted several weeks, was finalized this Tuesday. The Rio de Janeiro club will receive 9.5 million euros fixed, plus 500,000 euros in bonuses, totaling up to 10 million euros. Flamengo also retains 10% of the player's economic rights for future transactions. Ryan, who had a contract until March 2027, did not accept the renewal proposal and was seeking a clearer development plan at the club. During negotiations, Flamengo had rejected offers from other clubs, such as Lille and Fiorentina. The forward stood out in Flamengo's youth team, scoring 22 goals in 37 matches in 2025 and contributing to the runner-up finish in the Under-20 Libertadores. Originally from São Paulo, Ryan began his career in a social project and was discovered by Athletico-PR before joining Flamengo in 2023.
