Flamengo is a club that demands a lot from its management, as there are many emotional issues to be considered. The technical director, José Boto, talks about management at the club and the differences between Portugal and Brazil. "Here in Brazil almost every day is a test of fire for management, because there are many emotional issues that we are not used to in Europe", said Boto. "We take decisions in a more rational way, there is no emotion. Therefore, any decision here is always emotional, has always a big impact, mainly in the media and among the fans". Boto also talked about the choice of coach Leonardo, who replaced Filipe Luís. "It was the decision we thought was the most correct at the time. Nothing has to do with the value of the coach, who proved it, winning everything. But sometimes, to continue winning, you need to change". Boto also highlighted the ability of coach Leonardo to adapt to different contexts. "I consider Leonardo a more camaleonic coach, more chameleon, able to adapt to different contexts. If we analyze his Monaco, nothing had to do with the Sporting he also coached, is not it? Therefore, that was one of the reasons that led us to choose him"
