Flamengo returns to the pitch after the FIFA break to face Red Bull Bragantino in Bragança Paulista this Thursday, at 21:30 Brasília time, for the ninth round of the Brasileirão. Head coach Leonardo Jardim announced the lineup, which notably does not feature star player Giorgian de Arrascaeta and other key players.

According to Coluna Do Fla, Flamengo's starting XI will be Rossi in goal; Emerson Royal, Léo Ortiz, Vitão, and Ayrton Lucas in defense; Erick Pulgar, Jorginho, and Lucas Paquetá in midfield; and Luiz Araújo, Samuel Lino, and Pedro in attack.

On the bench, head coach Leonardo Jardim will have options such as Andrew, Dyogo Alves, Daniel Sales, Danilo, Giorgian De La Cruz, Jhon Arias Carrascal, Everton Cebolinha, Plata, and Wallace Yan, offering tactical alternatives for the match.

Giorgian de Arrascaeta, Léo Pereira, and Guillermo Varela are confirmed absences, following an intense workload with their respective national teams during the FIFA dates. The trio has already returned to Rio de Janeiro but will not be available for the clash against Bragantino.

Furthermore, Saúl Ñíguez continues his recovery from left heel surgery. Bruno Henrique, although having overcome pubalgia, is not yet returning. Alex Sandro is sidelined due to a muscle injury, and Evertton Araújo is suspended after receiving a red card against Corinthians in the previous round.

On the other hand, Jhon Arias Carrascal, Plata, Danilo, and Giorgian De La Cruz, who also represented their national teams during the period, have been cleared and are integrated into the squad, available for the match.
